Queen's Diamond Jubilee 2012
FREE BUNTING ... FREE FLAGS ... PLUS UNIQUE PROJECTS TO MARK THE QUEEN’S DIAMOND JUBILEE
Amersham Town Council is calling for orders of bunting and flags from Community Groups and street parties to help decorate the town this summer. The Town Council hopes that a large order sent to Bucks County Council will mean that residents and Community Groups can have free bunting and flags to celebrate the 2012 activities. Letters will be going out to Community Groups but all residents can place their order direct with ATC.
Deadline to guarantee your orders is 28 February 2012.
UNIQUE IDEAS ...
It could be a fountain; a town clock; a bandstand; a refurbished garden; a sculpture; a special tree or woodland; a memorial bench; a new play area ... the possibilities are endless. Amersham Town Council has a small fund for ideas to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for future Amersham residents.
Please send your ideas, even if they are already being worked on, to Amersham Town Council. The deadline for submission is 28 February 2012.
