Amersham Festival of Arts – Saturday 21st October to Sunday 29th October 2017:

Excitement is building for this year’s Amersham Festival of Arts! As well as the traditional Art Exhibition in the grand location of the Old Amersham Market Hall (Can you believe we have had over 335 entries this year!), we are expanding the Festival to include Pop up Exhibitions throughout the Town as well as performances from all aspects of the Arts.

The traditional Exhibition in the Market Hall will feature an array of wonderful works of Art from renowned local Artists. 20% of the profits from the sale of the exhibited items will go to the Amersham Town Council Grants Fund which goes to support and encourage local initiatives. So please make sure you pop down to the Old Amersham Market Hall anytime from 10.00am to 4.00pm during Arts Festival Week to view the fantastic artwork on display!

St. Michael’s & All Angels Church, Tesco Old Amersham, Chiltern District Council Office and Amersham Station will house our Pop up Exhibitions throughout Arts Festival Week and will feature artworks submitted by local Amersham school-children. As well as the artwork displays, St. Michael’s & All Angels Church, the Mad Squirrel Brewery Shop, Costa Coffee (in Tesco Old Amersham) and Café Africa will become our Performance hubs on both Saturday 21st Oct & Saturday 28th Oct from 11.00am to 4.00pm featuring music, dance, poetry, comedy, magic & so much more!!

It promises to be a fantastic event and we very much hope you will come out to support this community initiative!

If you are a performer who would like to showcase your skill or if you are a school or community group and would like to feature some artwork for our Pop up displays…..then please do get in touch!

Also keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming schedule including a Programme of Events, What’s On feature (highlighting what is happening in the local area over Half Term week) as well as a Map of our Arts Festival locations!

For more information about this year’s Amersham Festival of Arts, please contact the Town Council office and ask to speak to Zoe Richardson or Tina Coles on 0149 434000 or via email admin@amersham-tc.gov.uk – we look forward to hearing from you!!!
