AMERSHAM TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY- ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Full time – 37 hrs / week

We are looking for a charismatic and flexible individual who can contribute to the development and delivery of community initiatives while engaging within the community. You will be responsible for helping to organise a vibrant civic events programme while making a positive difference to the residents of Amersham. The essential qualities required for the role include excellent written and oral communication skills, an ability to work well under pressure and an attention to detail. An administrative background and strong IT skills including promoting events via Social Media.

You will be working on:

- Organising community events

              –  Administering the Town Council website and social media

              –  Help with burials administration, halls and sports bookings

              –  Preparation of data for council meetings

              –  Managing the Mayor’s Diary

              –  Dealing with telephone and email enquiries   

              –  Support with the Council’s Community Services Role

              –  Other administrative duties as required 

Salary £23,866 – £26,470 pa + London Weighting £585
